A major health care company identified a need for revamping their Information Technology organization. Rapid growth
and a strategic change in corporate direction led to the realization that IT realignment was warranted. The new CIO
turned to JBC for assistance.
JBC Meets the O.D. Challenge
Working closely with the client's CIO and senior staff, JBC developed a new organizational model designed to eliminate
functional redundancy, ensure a single point of entry into the IT organization and enable closer ties with the corporation's
diverse business units. JBC then moved into "execution mode". Taking a top down approach, all layers
of the IT organization were transitioned to the new model with measurable, positive impact from every vantage point - i.e.,
increased efficiency, heightened IT performance, greater business unit satisfaction and overall morale improvement.
